Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

If your order is in stock with us it will ship within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. 

If your order (or part of) needs to come in from our NZ-based suppliers, we will order it within 1 business day (excluding weekends and holidays). When it arrives with us we will notify you and ship it within 1 to 2 business days. 

If we need to order your products from the manufacturer this will be made clear to you when we receive your order. You may wish to not proceed at this point and a refund will be provided. If you are happy to wait we will order it and advise any communicated delivery times, and again when it has arrived with us.

You will receive another notification when your order has shipped from us. 


Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We use Pass the Parcel couriers where possible, and NZ Couriers when shipping the 1/5th scale trucks.

 

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup from Burnside, Christchurch. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared in alignment with the times outlined above. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions and the pick-up address. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 8-5 Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@gtrc.co.nz with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes and small islands including Waiheke and the Chathams.

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes. For small island deliveries, please contact us prior to placing the order. We will be unable to use Pass the Parcel for your delivery, but are happy to work with you to find a courier option that will deliver to you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@gtrc.co.nz with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
